Walking with Moms in Need is a nationwide, parish-based initiative to increase support for pregnant and parenting mothers in need.
It works to ensure that any woman who finds herself unexpectedly pregnant, or parenting in difficult circumstances, can turn to her local Catholic Church and be connected with the resources she needs. Volunteers walk with moms throughout the motherhood journey, offering them authentic Christian friendship and ongoing support.
The St. Kilian chapter offers support to the Life Center of Santa Ana.
They host the annual events such as Mother’s Day Roses, Walking with Moms Month, and Mass and refreshments on the feast day of the Holy Innocents.
MEETINGS:
Meetings are held on the last Wednesday of each month (except August, November and December) at 5 PM in the Parish classrooms. All are welcome to attend.
October is respect life month
The Diocese collection for Walking with Moms occurs during the month of October, Respect Life Month. Envelopes are in the pews, or you can donate online on our website.
All your donations support women, children, and families in shelters, clinics and centers throughout the Diocese of Orange.
For any questions or concerns about the program at our St. Kilian Parish feel free to email Noreen.
