About the Ensemble

This is an adult contemporary group bridging contemporary and traditional styles. While remaining in touch with our Catholic faith, we sing a variety of styles ranging from new arrangements of hymns to new favorites.

Commitment is to bi-monthly rehearsals where we will be going over the music for the month’s entirety, focusing on cohesiveness, listening as an ensemble, and working together as team.

REHEARSALS: Will resume their normal schedule in September.

MASS: 10:30 AM (Sundays) - alternating with the Children’s Choir

expectations and Order

Selections are sent out weekly via email where members are expected to print out ready for Thursday evening rehearsals while also utilizing the Spirit & Song Hymnal.

• Music is organized in order of service

• Try and familiarize with music, especially new pieces before rehearsal.

• Rehearsals are to:

  • Work on weekly liturgical selections

  • Work together as ensemble striving to building a united sound

  • Learn to listen to each other and work as a team rather than a group of individuals.

• If one cannot attend a Thursday rehearsal, please inform via email of absence so we can adjust accordingly.

• Be eager and open to learning new things and motivating each other to be our best selves.

Goals and aspirations

REJOICE! serves as a bridge for families allowing the congregation to worship the Lord. Our purpose is bring others closer to the Lord through our voices and gifts God has bestowed on us. We hope to build a strong ensemble that can keep growing to serve our St. Kilian Community to the best of our abilities.
