Parish Nurse

Maria Claudio, our Parish Nurse, has training as a Faith Community Nurse. Maria’s holistic approach to health, coupled with a covenant with Hoag Hospital, gives St. Kilian Church access to an AED machine on site, speakers on many different health related topics, annual flu shot clinics and nurses who attend our Senior Lunch & Learn events and are available to assist our seniors with health counseling. Maria and her team of nurses support parish events such as Oktoberfest, providing care and first aid. Maria consults individual parishioners seeking information about health issues, sets up flu shot clinics and assists in the planning of our Senior educational events.
