Veneration of a First-Class Relic of Blessed Michael McGivney

Join us for Holy Mass and Veneration of a First-Class Relic of Blessed Michael McGivney on Thursday, February 27th.

  • 4pm: Holy Mass followed by Veneration of the relic.

  • 6pm: Exemplification of Charity Unity & Fraternity (CUF) bringing in new Knights into the Order. Reception in the Hall following the CUF.

Blessed Michael McGivney, the founder of the Knights of Columbus, was a central figure in the growth of Catholicism in America. On October 31, 2020, Father Michael McGivney was beatified after the approval of a first miracle attributed to his intercession. We are honored to be able to bring to the Diocese of Orange a First Class Relic of Blessed McGivney.

A first-class relic of Blessed Michael McGivney, is a bone fragment that allows the faithful to pray and venerate the priest.

Mass and Veneration are open to all!

**Note that on Friday February 28, the Blessed Michael McGivney Relic will be in the Christ Cathedral St. Callistus Chapel for veneration and prayer at 5:00 PM.
