RCIA for Adults/Children
Interested in joining or learning about RCIA for Adults/Children or have any questions?
The Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults (RCIA) is a process through which those seeking to become Catholic are prepared to receive the sacraments of Baptism, Confirmation, and the Eucharist. The process is open to unbaptized people, baptized people of other faiths, and those baptized in the Roman Catholic Church who have not received full religious formation. Formation will continue this year after the summer - not sure yet if it will be Zoom or in person. We’ll discuss the Sunday Scripture readings from Mass and learn about the beliefs of a person who is Catholic.
A similar process, referred to as a “Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults adapted for Children”, (RCIA for Children) is available for children over 7 years of age who are unbaptized and seek to become Catholic.
